 A smoothie diet truly isn't an entire diet. This is more of a change to your diet. Weight loss was always a leading player in modern culture. We are sometimes forced to see how these people compare their magnificent physiques by the high profile celebrity Icons that are paraded like something in a shop window. The truth is, like you, that I am a normal person with work limits and other obligations, and that takes me just too much time to go into the gym every day.

Would you not like to reduce weight, regulate 5-day consumption, enhance energy and improve skin, hair and nails? If you responded 'yes' to these questions, you may have to put a smoothie diet into your life.

A smoothie is a mixture of several ingredients, primarily fruits and/or vegetables, which are combined to produce a delicious drink. However, you will be surprised how beneficial a smoothie may help your health if we look closely at the elements included in making a smoothie. Three - five servings and two to four series of fruits per day are recommended by the Food Pyramid Department of Agriculture. The minimum amount of such portions only comes up to what is known to be the "five a day." Minimum 5 portions of fruits and vegetables per day are eaten by less than 15% of Americans.

A common smoothie recipe I'm making in the mornings is an apple, a banana, a cup of orange juice, a handful of strawberries and 2 natural yoghurt tablespoons. If you look at the ingredients in that list, the majority of my five-a-day consumption is already there, I load my body with goodness and the vitamins and energy I need for a healthy, balanced body. And I do this while I'm having fun with what I drink! Would you not like to experiment with the wonderful smoothie diet? No one wants absurd dietary fad notions like salad or meat. I shall explain why in the following paragraph.

A common diet will urge you to adhere to some kind of dietary plan, where many items you like are essentially cut off and fewer portions are consumed. Did you ever notice why so many dietary fads exist? The reason is that they are all momentary solutions to a permanent problem!

Consider this UCLA study. A UCLA assistant psychology professor and leading author of the study told us,: 'You can first drop 5 to 10% of your weight in any number of diets, but eventually the weight will come back. "We have observed that most persons have recovered weight and more. Only a small percentage of people lose weight for a long time, whereas the majority gained it all back. Diets do not lead the majority of people to sustain weight loss or health advantages."

So why the diet smoothie? I advise the smoothie diet since it's not really a diet, essentially. I'm not requesting you to quit eating some foods, nor do I restrict your amounts. I'm asking you to take the time to integrate smoothies.  Have one for breakfast or lunch and maybe one for your dinner after dinner? What you will see is that you will improve your energy and feel as complete as possible. The fruit/green fibres, which are slower to digest, will make you feel more complete for a lengthy time.

All this besides the actual goal – weight loss! Yes, when it comes to smoothies, you don't have to bother about calorie counting. Just make them fun and have fun drinking them. Adjust your diet smoothly to your work; share the enjoyment with your children and take your weight and future under control. You soon discover that the pounds fall off and remain off, simply because you have to eat less, and since what you consume is a naturally nutritious food.
